桜の開花予想の話題を聞く頃になると、桜の香りのお線香を思い出す。
元々、お線香の香りが好きだったこともあって、花の香りのお線香にハマり、特に桜の香りのものを集めた時期があった。
今はもう集めるほどの情熱はないけど、仏間でお線香をあげると立ち上っていく煙の形が面白いので眺めている。
（あんな風に自然な流れの形を作品に反映できるといい）
今はオーソドックスなお線香の香りが一番好きである。

Around the time I hear people talking about the expected blooming of cherry blossoms, I am reminded of cherry blossom-scented incense sticks.
I used to love the smell of incense, and there was a time when I was addicted to incense sticks scented with flowers, especially those scented with cherry blossoms.
Now I don’t have the passion to collect them anymore, but when I offer incense in the Buddhist room, I watch the shape of the smoke rising from the incense sticks because it is so interesting.
(It would be nice if I could reflect the natural shape of the flow like that in my work.)
Now I like the smell of orthodox incense the best.
