東京・新国立美術館で開催されているイブ・サンローランの回顧展に行ってきた。
（今年の春まで東京・現代美術館で開催されていたクリスチャン・ディオールの回顧展は逃したので、今回は間に合って良かった…！）

雑誌やテレビで見るのもいいけど、実物が見られるのはやはりとてもいい。
華やかな造形のスタイルも素敵だと思うけど、個人的にはシンプルでありながらコンサバ、かつ機能的なスタイルが好きである。

すごく素敵だったので、とても満足している。
ファッションとかスタイルとかはその時代と密接に関わっているから、そういう面で見てもとても面白い。

アーティストをオマージュした作品の中で、すごく特徴を捉えてるな、と思ったのがこのゴッホをオマージュしたジャケット。

I went to the Yves Saint Laurent retrospective at the New National Art Museum in Tokyo.
(I missed the Christian Dior retrospective that was held at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo until this spring, so I am glad I made it this time…!)

It is nice to see in magazines or on TV, but it is still very nice to see the real thing.
I think the gorgeous sculpted style is great, but I personally like the simple yet conservative and functional style.

It was very nice and I am very happy with it.
Fashion and style are closely related to the times, so it is very interesting to see it from that aspect.
Among the works that pay homage to artists, I thought this Van Gogh homage jacket captured the characteristics very well.
