忘れられない年の一つ
One of the most unforgettable years.
箱根神社に続く参道
忘年会と称して、箱根へ旅行に行ってきた。
It was such a beautiful day, and I could see Mt. Fuji so beautifully from the Shinkansen window!
昨年も同じ時期に箱根に来ているので、何も考えずに出発したのだけど、台風の影響で通行止になっている区間があり、ホテルまでたどり着けないかと思った（爆）
（箱根駅伝に向けて、急ピッチで復旧している模様…関係各所の皆様、お疲れ様です…）
This time I got to go to Hakone Shrine! It was cloudy, but divine…
They have a charming face…
水面が綺麗。

The surface of the water is beautiful.
美味しいもの食べて、喋って笑って、のんびりお風呂に浸かって、「毎年なんだかんだ言って色々勃発してるけど（爆）、今年は当面の間、記憶に残るほど強烈な年だった…頑張ったな、私もみんなも」と思ってしみじみしてしまった。
（こういうのシンクロするよね…）
今年は亥年で、12年のサイクルの締めくくり。
来年からは私も新しいサイクルが始まる（らしい）。
I went on a trip to Hakone, calling it a year-end party.
I had been to Hakone last year at the same time, so I set out without thinking, but there was a section of road blocked due to the typhoon, and I thought I would not be able to reach the hotel.
(It seems that the road is being restored at a rapid pace in preparation for the Hakone Ekiden…) Thanks to everyone involved…)
We ate good food, talked and laughed, soaked in a relaxing bath, and thought, “Every year, things break out, but this year was so intense that it will be remembered for the foreseeable future… I thought to myself, I did a great job, and everyone else”.
(These things are so synchronized…)
This year is the Year of the Pig, the conclusion of a 12-year cycle.
Next year I will begin a new cycle (apparently).
